Think of your body fat as energy. Let’s tap into this energy source.

Eating every 2-3 hours is a fake source of energy, it does not last.

With all of that being said, we do not chase ketones at keto kamp. We chase results.

The sweet spot I’ve seen is 0.8 – 2.8 BHB in the bloodstream.

The first method: The 2/2/2/2 Rule (For Beginners)

Teach your body to utilize fatty acids for fuel instead of sugar (glucose).

The second method: MCT oil

The unique thing about MCT’s is that they bypass digestion and go straight into the mitochondria of your cells. I’ve noticed my brain fires up after consuming MCT oil. My personal favorite is Bulletproof’s Brain Octane Oil:

Draw the cell and show how it enters the mitochondria.

The third method: Caffeine in the form of high quality coffee beans.

Study showed caffeine double the production of ketones and free fatty acids.

The fourth method: Phase out your carbohydrates.

Most people can get into ketosis with 50 grams of carbohydrates per day. Some need to phase more carbohydrates out, and bring carbs below 20 grams to create higher ketones in the body.

The fifth method: If you’ve been doing keto for more than 3 months, start keto flexing!

When you introduce a keto flex day, you remind the body that it has another fuel source. I’ve seen this ramp up ketone production in the body. The day after, you should have higher ketone levels.

BONUS TIP: Intermittent Fasting. Keto is not about high fat, it is about low carbohydrate.
