How long to get into ketosis? Am I keto adapted? How long do I have to fast to burn fat? To find out, I invented the Metabolic Flexibility Olympics. A challenge to see how fast I can go from eating 300g of carbs to 0.5 ketones in my blood using a Keto Mojo meter and my Levels continuous glucose monitor (CGM). And then using that to calculate my glucose ketone index (GKI). This turned into a 42-hour prolonged fast where I get to see my blood sugar during fasted sleep. Anyone want to be the next competitor in my made-up Olympics?
